AI Symposium 2021

On-line & On-site (limited number of attendees, sitem-insel, Freiburgstrasse 3, 3010 Bern)

We are happy to announce the AI Symposium 2021.

  • Public opening event to kick off the CAS Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging program 2021

  • Leading international experts in AI

In an increasingly technological world, understanding the principles and extensive potential of Artificial Intelligence in diagnostic medical systems is key to explore its possibilities in the daily practice. For the third year, sitem-insel School offers its successful CAS course in Artificial Image in Medical Imaging by the University of Bern. As in previous years, the program is initiated by a public symposium.

This year’s program focuses on the translational aspects of Artificial Intelligence in diagnostic medical systems and sitem-insel School once again has managed to invite prominent, international scientific experts in relevant fields – Prof. Dr. Jürgen Burger and Prof. Dr. Roland Wiest from the University of Bern and University Hospital Bern; Prof. Michaela van der Schaar from the University of Cambridge, Prof. Charles E Kahn, University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Shibeshih Belachew from Biogen and Robert (Ted) Baldwin from Imageens, among others – who will present some of the latest developments in the field. Agenda and the speakers line-up will follow.

We look forward to you joining the Symposium 2021!
